Candidates for my 2006 Best Film...
Okay, so far I have narrowed down my shortlist to only 7 films, but this is not yet final, I have to wait for November 30th and see if there will be other great films which are coming in the next 2 1/2 weeks before my own deadline...Last year, I chose TaeGukgi as the years best and I completely snubbed Donnie Darko and Oldboy which better stayed with me as very good films up to now.

KING KONG Is it really my taste to absorb a monster movie?
THE EDUKATORS The anti-globalization film is a wake up call for me but should I allow another indie again?
SYMPATHY FOR LADY VENGEANCE Last years Best Film slot was owned by Korea, and the next big thing about this film is Park Chan Wook who directed Oldboy, but in a very stiff competition...
UNITED 93 Amazing WOW! Very strong and well crafted, but should I join the bandwagon?
FINDING NEVERLAND Decent family film, very touching, I respect the film so much but I am no fan of Peter Pan
HOTEL RWANDA Well acted, good story, nice drama! But I almost forget about this
FATELESS Fantastic and very different but another Holocaust drama again?
